JOBST JoViPak Chin Strap compression garments are designed for lymphoedema compression therapy during the night. The blended foam mix and lateral channeling create multiple pressure points and are designed to increase lymph flow and soften fibrotic tissue.

They are available in two variations:

  • Chin Strap (Standard) – The standard JOBST  JoViPak  Chin Strap addresses oedema of the neck, mandible and the anterior/lateral aspects of the face, partially covering the ears. This style has an open seam at the neck, designed for placement of a treatment-related insert, e.g. the universal JOBST JoViPad Neck.
  • Chin Strap (Extended) – The extended version of the JOBST JoViPak Chin Strap is designed to address oedema of the neck, the mandible, and the lateral aspects of the head and behind the ears. A treatment-related insert, e.g. – peri-auricular JOBST JoViPad Neck, can be added through an open seam at the neck.

The JOBST JoViPak Chin Strap compression garment is part of the JOBST JoViPak head and neck range. Other products available in this range include:

To use JOBST JoViPak Chin Strap:

  1. Place the JOBSTJoViPakChin Strap against the chin/neck area, making sure that the hook and look closures are facing away from the skin.
  2. Comfortably secure the shorter set of straps around the neck and the longer set of straps over the top of the head.
  3. Optionally, you can extend the length of the straps with the Head and Neck Extender at the top of the head and/or where the device fastens at the back of the neck.
  4. Adjust to a safe and comfortable fit and avoid too high pressure built-up or restriction of swallowing.
  5. Regularly check for correct positioning.

Other recommendations: Adjust for a comfortable fit but ensure complete coverage of the affected area. Consult your Healthcare Professional for the correct selection, application, and use of specialty pads.

JOBST® compression garments should be washed twice a week if possible. For this purpose, you may use a regular mild detergent. Do not use laundry additives such as fabric softener, optical brightener, or stain remover. Rinse your compression garment well. Roll up the wet compression garment in a towel after washing and press out excess moisture. Do not wring. Do not dry the compression garment on a radiator or in direct sunlight. For tumble dryer compatibility, please check the product label of your compression garment. Tumble dry at lowest heat possible.
